We would like to invite you to join us for the 2nd Annual “Let’s Hear it for the Girls” event, online at: www.LHIFTG.blogspot.com. Our mission is to create a night of fun and community for Mt. Juliet/Wilson County while increasing our business commitment to reducing the risks of cancer and raising money for the Making Strides Cancer team, “Let’s Make Some Noise.” Our goal for 2009 is to raise $10,000 and put Mt. Juliet on the map as a community that cares.

This night will highlight and showcase businesses in the area that are concerned and committed to the health of citizens. It will be a celebration of life and dedication to those individuals/families/businesses affected by Breast Cancer and any other type of cancer. Everyone attending will walk away with an increased awareness and tips on how to reduce odds of developing cancer.

The event will take place Thursday September 24th, 2009 at the Community Center Gym at Charlie Daniels Park from 6 to 8:30 pm. For guests, the night will include a goodie bag to be filled while visiting and interacting with our sponsor tables. (If your business directly helps/promotes health & wellness, please have the information at your table. If not, the American Cancer Society will be glad to donate information pamphlets to you to give out at your table along with your business information) Also, food, music, entertainment, education and a live and silent auction will be the highlights of the evening.
